They say choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions you are faced with when planning your wedding because, after all, your wedding is one day, but the photos will last a lifetime. It has to be right. With this in mind, we set out doing some research into local photographers who’s speciality was weddings but also mindful that we were working to a budget. There are quite a few out there as we discovered, but we kept being drawn back to Chris and Jayne’s website as we really liked their portfolio, but also, importantly, it was clear that they are committed to providing their customers with the best possible service they can (just read their ‘Customer Pledge’). After chatting to Chris on the phone I knew we’d made the right decision. Chris and Jayne have obviously photographed at weddings many, many times before and that wealth of knowledge and experience definitely comes across when you speak to them. On the day itself Chris and Jayne immediately made us feel relaxed and at ease with their calm and well thought out approach, and having both Chris and Jayne taking photographs meant they were able to capture some great moments that would not otherwise have been possible. Chris was great at organizing guests and ensuring things ran smoothly at both the church and reception venue. Our digital album appeared on the website extremely quickly for our guests to view and our disc of high-resolution images arrived a few days later. Chris is also extremely flexible when it comes to putting together your album and even went to the trouble of sending us a couple of layout designs to accommodate extra photographs before we made our final decision. When Chris delivered the album and prints we were more than happy with the final result. The service we received from Codsall Photographic definitely exceeded our expectations; friendly, very professional, excellent in every respect. Highly recommended!

'Chris & Jayne are a great husband & wife team who really know how to get fantastic wedding photos. My wife and I had a good idea of what kind of photos we wanted and Chris & Jayne took the time to find exactly how they could capture this for us. We even visited the venue with them so we could walk around together and decide where the best shots could be taken.

On the big day it was reassuring to know that one very important thing was in safe hands - and having both of them there taking pictures meant that all the little details were recorded as well as the formal shots. Chris knows how to pose some great photos and keep all the guests organised (at least as far as getting the photos taken anyway!).

They posted a selection of the photos onto their website very quickly and gave us a password so we could look online and start to decide which ones we wanted in our album. Once we'd made our choice Jayne got to work on the layout of the album - she has a good eye for what works well on a page.

To say that we were happy with the end results would be a massive understatement. The albums looks amazing which is testament to the skill and professionalism of Codsall Photographic.'

The package arrived at 3.30pm on Friday . I did not open it as I wanted to do it together with Christian.

However, we opened it on Saturday after breakfast. It is fantastic!!! It’s so big and heavy, it’s amazing...
