Our Commitments to YOU
We only cover one wedding per day – so we won't be rushing off to another event – and we don't charge by the hour. We are there for as long as agreed at the time of booking. And even then if your day meets with some delays, we won't be disappearing. We will stay with you until things are complete. Our time with you normally finishes at your sit-down for the wedding breakfast, however you can optionally book for us to cover the evening festivities up to your first dance (included as standard in our Somerford and Shugborough packages)
We will ALWAYS listen to what YOU want. It's your day - and we want to record it the way YOU want. That's not to say we won't give advice or make some recommendations - after all, that one of the reasons you employ professionals! And to give you even more peace of mind - we both hold Enhanced CRBs
To keep up to date, our packages do get updated from time to time - so the package you select when you book is precisely detailed on your booking form - removing any margin for error oe misunderstanding.
Wedding Albums and DVDs
We can provide you with a DVD containing your wedding pictures - this is an option on all our packages. However, disks can be lost, damaged or even fail over time. And who knows if computers in 20 years time will even be able to read them? Therefore we firmly believe that a wedding album is the true way to show your pictures to their best advantage - and also to keep them safe for future generations. At Codsall Photographic we design all albums ourselves - and we take time and patience doing it! Your album is designed by someone who has been at your wedding, who knows what has happened on the day - and who has the experience and expertise how to lay out the pictures to tell the story of the day.
Draft Album Design Service
We also include a complementary draft album design service - so within a short time of your wedding (normally in 5-8 weeks) you can already see your wedding album taking shape. We then work with you to refine the design to ensure the final product meets your exact requirements. We believe this is a real time saver for our couples, taking away the headache of having to select pictures that form a cohesive story line. Our delivery time for a finished album is generally between 6 and 18 weeks after your wedding.
Evening Slide-Show
As part of our optional evening coverage we can also offer you a custom designed 5 minute fast moving and upbeat audio-visual, showing an edited selection of the images taken during the day. We bring the projector, screen, laptop and music - all you have to do is enjoy the show with your evening guests!
The show will also be available for viewing again and again on our You-Tube page. And if you want a version for your iPhone, iPad, iPod or similar video-capable device, we are only too happy to provide it for you - including a licence for the music - for only £10
Parents Albums
A wide selection of parents / bridesmaids / grandparents albums are available. Depending on which main album style you select we can offer custom made parents albums, either as reduced-size copies of your main album or simply a selection of pictures from the extensive collection on your slideshow DVD.
Pre-Wedding Photoshoot
:Most couples have probably never experienced a professional photo shoot before – and it can be quite daunting to be expected to pose for the camera. Our pre-wedding shoot enables us to meet you on location and prepare you for a few of the poses that we will use on the day. We will also take a selection of natural photographs which will be yours to keep and treasure – as we give you the CD including the images from the day! It also gives us chance to get to know each other a little better and to understand what the expectations are on each side. This is available as an option - but is included as standard in our Somerford and Shugborough packages.
Evening Event Photography - A Professional “Photo Booth”
You may have seen photo booths at wedding fayres or other weddings - where your guests can take the opportunuity to have some fun and take away a photographic momento of your big day. To compete with this we offer a higher quality service, where the pictures are taken by a professional photographer - guaranteeing high quality photos for your guests - printed on site - and all the pictures given to you on a CD. This is great and modern alternative to table favours. Our professional mini-studio can be set up in most locations - and the pictures can be reviewed and chosen by your guests before printing - unlike photobooth systems. A charge is made for this service based upon unlimited 6” x 4” prints for a set number of hours (minimum of two hours). Please contact us for more details.
